About Lillian

Lillian began her professional editing, marketing, and writing career when her college English professor hired her to help with his book. She launched her freelance editing and writing business from there. Lillian takes on any task that requires her to edit or write, regardless of the topic.

Developmental editing is Lillian's favorite part of the writing process. She enjoys using the story's structure to further develop the rhythm and pace of the story.

Lillian graduated from Boston University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English. She credits her time there as the groundwork of her writing and literature expertise. Classes like “History of the Novel” and “Story Structure Through Myths and Fables” trained Lillian to see the invisible threads that run beneath the pages, achieved through the exploration of the historical foundations of literature.

Lillian knew the writing world was meant for her when she chose to take a class called “Analyzing Grammar." She spent the semester reviewing grammar rules, learning their storied past, and debating with classmates on their validity. She called this "fun."
